IBM 4370-002
The IBM 4370 Infoprint 62 Model 002 features 240 dpi print resolution.
The IBM 4370, an Infoprint 62 Printer, is an intermediate speed, all
points addressable (APA) electrophotographic (EP) printer, available in
240 dots-per-inch (dpi) or 300 dpi print quality. It produces high quality
printing on a wide range of media types, sizes, and weights at a process
speed of 62 images per minute for 8.5" forms. Its small size and economical
purchase price make the Infoprint 62 attractive as an entry level continuous
forms printer. The printer accepts a wide range of paper sizes and weights.
In addition to traditional production printing, the printer is ideal for
printing label stock. In addition to excellent print quality, the IBM
Infoprint 62 Printer offers the reliability of a continuous forms EP printer.
The straight paper path minimizes operator intervention. All supplies
are designed for easy customer replacement. It has IPDS Compatibility
with other IBM IPDS printers. It can be LAN attached via SNA Token Ring,
TCP/IP Token Ring or TCP/IP Ethernet. It also has a Parallel Channel Attachment,
and an ESCON Channel attachment available as features. The fast RISC architecture
control unit is able to handle complex printing at near rated speeds,
and includes a hard disk for font and resource storage and easy microcode
updates.
