The 7207-012 is an external, stand-alone streaming tape device that attaches to an IBM RS/6000 SCSI I/O controller via SCSI cable. The 7207-012 provides low-cost save/restore functions for migrating files from other 1/4-inch cartridge-based workstations and systems.
